# Overview

The FEX Payment Platform supports two payment flows. Choose the one that fits your checkout experience:

| Flow            | Initiated by                | How it works                                                                                        |
| --------------- | --------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Standard QR** | Merchant / POS terminal     | Terminal generates a QR code; customer scans it with their wallet app                               |
| **Reverse QR**  | POS terminal (counter scan) | The customer shows their wallet QR; the terminal scans it and sends a push approval to the customer |
